This is the standard base material used for custom embroidered patches. We can source any color and match any Pantone color precisely.

Felt

Felt allows you to create a patch that offers a slightly different aesthetic compared to the traditional polyester patch, providing a unique and textured appearance.

Black Ballistic Nylon

Ballistic nylon, commonly used in luggage, duffel bags, and other durable items, is a dense fabric made from tightly woven, high-tenacity nylon filament. It features a lustrous sheen, exceptional abrasion resistance, and a sleek, cool aesthetic.

Camouflage Material

We can source virtually any camouflage pattern you desire, making it perfect for military, law enforcement, hunting, or outdoor-related patches. This versatility also adds a stylish touch to patches for fashion brands.

Reflective Material

Utilizing the same reflective material found in safety apparel, our patches enhance wearer visibility. They are ideal for fire & rescue, outdoor professions, or as a unique addition to fashion brands, ensuring both functionality and style.

No Border

This borderless patch design prevents fraying without any stitching at the edge. If you’re looking for something unique, consider manufacturing your patch without a border for a distinct touch.

Embroidered Border

This option is our most standard border for custom patches. We recommend this border for 100% embroidered patches.

Merrowed Border

The border wraps around the patch edge, up to 3mm thick, and is suitable for regular shapes like circles, ovals, and rectangles. It is sewn by professionals using a merrowed border machine. While it is our priciest option, it offers the most polished look.

Frayed Edges

Featuring polyester blend twill edges with a worn and frayed effect. This allows you to create a more bohemian style patch.

Thread (1-9 colors)

The standard number of colors is limited to nine.

Extra Thread Colors (10 - 12)

For designs requiring more than 9 colors, there is an additional cost, as this nearly doubles the manufacturing time. This option allows you to choose from 10 to 12 colors.

13 or More Thread Colors

This option allows you to choose 13 or more colors.

Metallic Thread

Metallic threads provide a stunning way to differentiate your custom embroidered patch. This option allows you to incorporate these shimmering threads into your design, available in a variety of colors such as silver, gold, green, purple, blue, and more.

Neon Thread

This option allows you to incorporate true neon colors into some or all of your embroidered patch, adding a vibrant and eye-catching element to your design.

Puff Embroidery (3D)

This exciting option ensures your patch stands out with a 3D effect, creating a textured, eye-catching appearance.​

Glow in the Dark (10% Embroidery)

Choose this special glow-in-the-dark thread if you want approximately 10% of your patch surface to emit a luminous glow in low light conditions.

Glow in the Dark (25% Embroidery)

Choose this special glow-in-the-dark thread option if you want approximately 25% of your patch surface to emit a luminous glow in low light conditions.

Glow in the Dark (50% Embroidery)

Сhoose this special glow-in-the-dark thread if you want approximately 50% or more of your patch surface to emit a luminous glow in low light conditions.

Iron-on

For fast and easy attachment, apply heat with an iron for 15-30 seconds. The iron-on backing provides a smooth finish, making it ideal for standalone patches. However, for fashion brands, we recommend sewing the patch directly onto the garment for added durability.

Iron-on Extending to Border

The iron-on backing extends to the patch’s border, ensuring tighter adhesion to garments or accessories, especially with a merrowed border patch.

Adhesive

Instead of a traditional sticker, consider an embroidered patch that acts like a sticker. Ideal for resale or giveaways, these patches easily adhere to computers, water bottles, or notebooks.

Velcro Hook (Adhesive)

This innovative solution combines the convenience of hook velcro with adhesive backing. You can easily detach the velcro, allowing your custom patch to be sewn on later.

Velcro Hook (Edge Stitch)

Instead of a satin stitch, a running stitch secures the velcro, offering a subtle aesthetic difference. The backing features velcro hooks, which can easily attach to a velcro loop.

Velcro Hook (Satin Stitch)

This backing features a standard velcro hook, attachable to a velcro loop. It’s secured with satin stitching along the patch’s edge for added durability.

Velcro Hook (Merrowed Border)

Select this option if you've chosen a merrowed border patch. The hook velcro is sewn onto the back of the patch, enabling easy adhesion to a loop velcro application.

Velcro Hook w/ Loop Application (Adhesive)

With this option, we provide the loop side of the velcro, cut to match your patch’s shape. This allows you to sew the loop onto a garment or accessory for easy attachment and removal.

Velcro Hook w/ Loop Application (Edge Stitch)

With this option, we also provide the loop side of the velcro, cut in exactly the same shape as your velcro patch. This allows you to sew the loop onto a garment or accessory for easy attachment.

Velcro Hook w/ Loop Application (Satin Stitch)

This option includes the loop side of the velcro, cut to match your patch’s shape. You can sew the loop onto a garment or accessory for easy attachment.

Velcro Hook w/ Loop Application (Merrowed Border)

Thin Plastic

This option provides a smooth veneer over the back of the patch, offering a contrast to the rough natural texture. It’s designed purely for aesthetic value, unlike the functional iron-on backing, which allows you to easily iron the patch onto a garment.

Pin Backing

Great for events, this option allows users to easily pin the patch onto their garment or accessory.

Magnetic

The patch is fully covered with a soft magnetic backing, making it ideal for use as a fridge magnet.

Wearable Magnet

A small magnet adhered to the back of the patch pairs with another magnet placed on the garment or accessory. This setup enables easy attachment without the need for sewing or adhesive, making it perfect for events.​

Button Loop

This patch style gained popularity through the Boy Scouts, who used it to collect non-official patches on a display board separate from their uniform. Recently, other groups and organizations have also adopted this style of patch collecting.
